Knob Creek Bourbon
Customer product experience
The Single Barrel Experience is a program that allows individual retailers to personally claim their own barrel. Participants can go to Clermont and taste samples from different barrels before choosing their favorite. (In case you're not a bourbon expert, each barrel has a unique character based on a variety of things, the place it was stored in the rack house, being one of them.)
Together with the Proof team, I designed the experience, from videos and sales material to misc. touch-points and POS material.

We designed a logo mark to illustrate the craftsmanship and hands-on experience.
As a way to enhance the customization, we also created a graphic "stamp", inspired by the shape of the rack house, that allows the Master Distiller to log the placement of the barrel inside the rack house.
Brochures, tasting cards, and in-store POS material are some of the touch-points created to enhance the branding experience and guide the guest through the selection process.

THE THINK project
WEBSITE
We designed a website with an animated version of the THINK book and three THINK videos.
THE THINK EXHIBITION
The book was such a success that we decided to make it into a free, public exhibition that would allow more people to interact with the THINK message. The exhibition has traveled to Stockholm, Sweden and Sydney, Australia. Next...?

SUNTORY Japanese whiskey
Creating an upscaled experience for Japanese whiskey maker Suntory at Harrods in London.
We designed an elegant and minimalistic “soul place” in the prestigious British department store, Harrods. The challenge was to create a space that would reflect the harmony of Japanese nature and craftsmanship of Suntory whiskeys.
The room was designed around a large interactive video screen with Perch technology, allowing the customers to have individual visual experiences based on their movement and product selection.
Texture and materials are very important in Japanese culture and an essential part of making Suntory whiskeys. We designed the room with oak wood to reflect nature, Japanese Washi paper to create balance and harmony and acrylic shelving to make the bottles appear as if they're suspended in the air.
